COLLECTION OF INFORMATION
The Deal Spot LLC is designed to collect as little information about you as possible. The Deal Spot LLC does not require or collect your name, e-mail address, postal or home address, telephone number, shopping habits, credit card information, or any other information that personally identifies you in order to browse the Website and Applications or to create a consumer account.
Consumer accounts use passkeys (WebAuthn). A passkey lets you sign in using your device's built-in biometrics or PIN; the biometric check takes place on your device and is never sent to The Deal Spot LLC. Creating a consumer account does not require an e-mail address, a password, or any other personal information. When you register, The Deal Spot LLC generates a display name for you, which you may change at any time.
Site administrators sign in with Google. For administrator accounts, The Deal Spot LLC receives a name, e-mail address, profile identifier, and profile image from Google. The Deal Spot LLC never receives or stores your Google password.
There is also limited information that is automatically collected when you click an affiliate link. This information is limited to the deal you clicked, your browser type (user agent), and the timezone reported by your browser. If you are signed in, the click is associated with your account. The Deal Spot LLC does not collect or retain your IP address in any form. This information is used by The Deal Spot LLC for the operation of the service, to maintain the quality of the service, to attribute affiliate commissions, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the Website and Applications.
The Deal Spot LLC encourages you to review the privacy statements of websites you choose to link to from the Website or Applications — including affiliate retailers such as Amazon or Walmart — so that you can understand how those websites collect, use, and share information. The Deal Spot LLC is not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on websites outside of the Website and Applications.

The Deal Spot LLC uses the limited information described above to operate the Website and Applications and to deliver the features you have requested, such as authenticating your account, displaying your chosen display name, recording likes and saved deals, responding to problem reports, and attributing affiliate commissions. The Deal Spot LLC is not responsible for the use of your information by third parties, so carefully review any third party before submitting any information to them.
The Deal Spot LLC keeps track of which deals are clicked within the Website and Applications in order to determine which deals are most popular. This data is used to improve and enhance our content. Because The Deal Spot LLC does not collect names, e-mail addresses, telephone numbers, or other identifying information from consumers, and does not retain IP addresses in any form, this usage information cannot be attributed or traced back to an individual. The Deal Spot LLC does not sell your information.

When you delete your account, your personal information — such as your display name, and any name or e-mail address received from an administrator's Google sign-in — is removed. Your prior contributions, such as likes, saved deals, and problem reports, are reassigned to an anonymous placeholder so that community content remains intact but is no longer linked to you.
SECURITY OF INFORMATION
The Deal Spot LLC secures the limited information it holds from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Information is stored in a controlled environment, protected from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure, and all connections to the Website and Applications are protected in transit through the use of encryption (HTTPS). Administrative access is restricted. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and The Deal Spot LLC cannot guarantee absolute security. The Deal Spot LLC does not sell personal information.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The Website and Applications are not directed to, and are not intended for use by, children under the age of 13. The Deal Spot LLC does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided The Deal Spot LLC with personal information, please contact us using the information below and we will promptly remove it.
